Chiropractic Care
What Is Chiropractic Care?
Chiropractic care focuses on the nervous system and how it controls everything in the body. Nerve interference causes problems in all aspects of the body. A lot of people will feel their pain first but not realize that bodily functions also change. Chiropractic works at removing nerve interference by adjusting the spine and decreasing irritation to the nerves. We will discuss your X-ray findings with you and talk about how ongoing regular chiropractic care will halt the degenerative process that occurs as we age.
Experience Improved Vitality
Our goal is to transition patients from pain-based chiropractic to wellness care. As you start to get better, we’ll ask you about what else you notice that is improving in your life. For example, perhaps your golf game has gotten better, or you have more energy to go to the gym or play with your grandkids.
Conditions That Can Benefit From Chiropractic
Many common conditions can benefit from safe and natural chiropractic care:
- Headaches
- Low back pain
- Poor posture
- Sciatica
- Tech neck
Our Techniques
We feature a variety of techniques designed to help you feel your best:
Activator Methods®: This system of spinal evaluation combined with a handheld adjusting instrument delivers a consistent, low-force thrust. We often use it for extremity work.
Atlas Orthogonal: This technique uses a mechanical adjusting instrument to adjust the top two vertebrae in the spine. As these are so far underneath the muscles in the bones of the skull and upper neck, using your hands is difficult. For this reason, the mechanical instrument adjusts those areas better.
Diversified: A special hand arrangement called a “pisiform contact” is used to deliver a specific thrust at the right place and the right time.
Thompson Drop Table: This technique uses a special table that reduces the amount of energy needed to adjust the spine.
